Brown-Miller

CEO & LECTURER

Dillette Brown-Miller is a Medical Technologist since 1992. She has taught phlebotomy for the past 11 years. The intrigue of her students’ success keeps her excited for each new class, each new student.

She attended the College of the Bahamas, after which she acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama.

She has experience in Human Resources, training in particular, and Customer Service: being the first Training Officer of Doctors Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas. That same passion that drove her as she found her passion in training is the same passion that still drives her with each new student. She now awakes with passion as the CEO of The Phlebotomy Mastery Institute, motivated to change the face of healthcare, one student at a time and one patient at a time.

Dellareese Woodside

Administrator

Ms. Woodside is an AMT Registered Phlebotomist and Patient Care Technician. She has many years of experience in business administration. She has a passion for helping people and customer care is her mantra.

Sandra Sears

Lecturer

Sandra L. Sears is a licensed Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Bahamas. Sandra is duly certified and has vast practical experiences (more than 50 years) in the public and private sectors. She has hands-on experience in supervision and quality control in laboratory Blood Bank operations. She was also responsible for the establishment of the Blood Bank at Doctors Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas in 1987. Sandra’s specialty is therapeutic phlebotomy, and she holds membership in the following: Bahamas Association of Medical Technologists; Caribbean Association of Medical Technologists, American Association of Blood Banks and the American Medical Technologists Association.
